Boathouse Services

Fish Orders
Due to a £50 minimum order by our suppliers, we no longer provide fish to order. We keep a stock of top quality hake, haddock and occasionally pollack, portioned to around 250g and vacuum packed and frozen on the day of delivery. When properly defrosted it is every bit as good as wet fish and it is extremely unlikely that you would notice when on the plate in front of you.

Bread Orders

Local baker Paul's Bread suppliers top quality bread of all sorts. Generally available in the shop will be white and wholemeal sliced bread and often croissants. There are many other options available such as sourdough, organic bloomers, rolls and cobs as well as some excellent luxury muffins. All bread options can be ordered in the shop or online for next day delivery if we get the order before our cutoff time.

Newspaper Orders

We can save your favourite newspaper for collection later in the day to save you and early start. Unpaid and uncollected newspapers will be returned at the end of the day. We also accept newspaper tokens.

Cash Back

Your options for getting cash west of Penzance are limited. Cash is still occasionally necessary in the wilds of West Cornwall. There is a free cash machine in St Just and in St Buryan during shop hours. The Old Boathouse offers a cash back service (restrictions apply). For the nearest free ATM or if you only possess a non-UK card, it's a trip to St Just.

Our cash back service is available to UK debit card holders and is generally subject to a £3 minimum spend on goods. We can provide cash back up to £50.

We can also provide cash back with no purchase but will charge a £1.50 service fee.
